Duo Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert Wed : Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert from “Dancing With the Stars” got married on Saturday in Northern California’s Monterey County. The wedding was in a stunning redwood forest. Hough, 38, and Erbert, 28, are professional dancers on “Dancing With the Stars.” They exchanged vows by a symbolic tree, marking the beginning of their family. The party was in a famous 100-year-old barn.
After meeting on “DWTS” in 2015 and starting a relationship, the pair has become a favorite in the dancing world. Erbert showcased skills on the show for seven seasons and went on four tours. Hough, Julianne Hough’s younger brother, won the Mirrorball Trophy six times. The couple announced their engagement on Instagram in June 2022. Hough creatively changed their LA home for the proposal.
Hough hinted at the upcoming wedding when he posted “Hold Back Time” on Instagram. The song’s message was to not worry about the future and appreciate love. Their “Symphony of Dance” tour, starting on September 28, will be their next joint venture. Hough will return as a judge on ABC’s “DWTS” this fall.

The professionals’ first dance showed their closeness. Erbert told Brides magazine they wanted the dance to feel personal, unlike a show. Hough emphasized the importance of being present rather than striving for greatness. Forest Blakk’s “Fall Into Me” played during a private dance on a glass floor, enhanced by a fog machine.
The wedding venue was meaningful to the couple. In an interview, Hough described the place as a fairy tale scene. Erbert noticed they stood before a mother tree encircled by smaller trees. He said the tree was important as it was the center of their wedding scene. She said that when trees dropped seeds, it was like planting for their future, forming a circle like a family.
Hough and Erbert openly share their growing relationship, frequently posting photos and videos for fans. Their engagement news, set in a scene of white petals, candles, and feathers, said it all about their feelings. As they began their new love story, their wedding showed their commitment as both dance and life partners. They promised to nurture and develop their love story.
