After last night’s AEW Dynamite event in El Paso, Texas, three significant matches were confirmed for the upcoming AEW Revolution pay-per-view. The event will take place on March 15 in Los Angeles, California, with Kris Statlander challenging AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla to a decisive two-out-of-three falls match, marking the final encounter in their trilogy rivalry.
The challenge was issued by Statlander, who believes a two-out-of-three falls stipulation will best settle the score between her and Thekla, bringing their intense competition to a climax at Revolution.
Statlander Issues Two-Out-Of-Three Falls Challenge to Thekla
Statlander, who has each held the AEW Women’s World Championship once in their series, made her intentions clear in a promotional clip released on March 5, 2026. She stated,
“I’ve beaten you once, you’ve beaten me once, but once is not enough. Revolution – two out of three falls. Your killing is coming, twice.”
This confrontation adds tension to their growing feud ahead of the PPV.
Thekla previously captured the title from Statlander during a strap match held two weeks after Statlander’s successful defense in January. Recently, Thekla reaffirmed her dominance by retaining the championship against former champ Thunder Rosa, further heightening the stakes for their upcoming bout.
AEW World Trios Title Defense Announced
Also featured on the Revolution card is the AEW World Trios Championship defense. The champions Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher, and Mark Davis will face challengers Kevin Knight, Mike Bailey, and the CMLL star Mistico in a rematch. The trio of Okada, Fletcher, and Davis won the titles from JetSet Rodeo during last night’s Dynamite, marking their first defense in what could be the start of a notable reign.

Mistico’s involvement presents an opportunity for his first title win in AEW, adding further intrigue to the trios contest.
Additional Featured Matches for the AEW Revolution Card
Among the seven confirmed matches for the 2026 AEW Revolution, a grudge match between Swerve Strickland and Brody King stands out. After King challenged Strickland’s claim of being next in line for a title shot, tensions escalated with a brutal confrontation involving a metal chain, cementing their intense rivalry to be settled at the PPV.
Other prominent title matches announced include the AEW World Tag Team Championship bout where Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood will challenge The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson), as well as Jon Moxley defending the AEW Continental Championship against Konosuke Takeshita. The main event will feature MJF defending the AEW World Championship against Hangman Adam Page in a Texas Death Match.
