LA Knight, known as The Megastar in WWE, is slated to compete in the six-man Elimination Chamber match at the 2026 WWE Elimination Chamber event. In an interview with ESPN’s SportsCenter, Knight shared candid thoughts on his current experience with WWE, acknowledging both the exciting moments and the challenges he faces. He described feeling frustration at times, which he linked to his passion for wrestling, emphasizing that intense emotions are part of his dedication to the sport.
“It’s a good time. There’s definitely frustrations here and there. You can’t be in something you love and not from time to time… passion is sometimes full of anger. There’s no way not to have a little bit of that in there,”
Knight said. He also expressed gratitude for the journey so far and the opportunities he has had to perform, adding,
“But as far as what we’re doing and as far as what I’m doing, it’s been a hell of a run, it’s been a hell of a ride. So yeah, I’m having fun where I can pick my spots. It’s just trying to unplug when I actually have the chance to go home and be at home and enjoy that time.”
The Importance of Winning the Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania Ambitions
Knight spoke about the significance of winning the upcoming Elimination Chamber, explaining that it would validate the years of hard work, sacrifice, and perseverance he has put into his wrestling career. He highlighted how much it would mean to him to challenge for the WWE Championship on the grandest stage, WrestleMania.
“It would mean all this paid off. Everything. All the effort, all the time, all the blood, sweat, tears, all that stuff that you hear everybody talk about, it’s real. I’m 23 years deep in this thing right now. But with that being the case, when you talk about a marquee match like that, nothing gets bigger than WrestleMania,”
Knight remarked. He further asserted that his presence in the World Title scene at WrestleMania is long overdue, stating,
“As far as I’m concerned, me being in the World Title picture at WrestleMania – overdue if you ask me.”
Victory at RAW Leads to Elimination Chamber Qualification
On the February 9, 2026, episode of WWE RAW, LA Knight competed in a Triple Threat match against PENTA and Austin Theory. Emerging victorious, Knight secured his spot in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match. Following the win, he delivered an emotional promo in front of the live audience, particularly acknowledging the city of Cleveland’s importance in his career.

In his speech, Knight said,
“Right here in Cleveland, I won my first-ever major singles title in this company. So that tells me, with all the years that I’ve been running around the world, all the years I’ve been running around here, Cleveland has to be one of my homes. When you have major firsts in a city like this, there’s no way you can’t hold that in your heart, and that’s where I hold each and every one of you, and I thank you for it.”
He also shared his aspirations to reach WrestleMania and perhaps even win the world title, emphasizing the support from the fans as a driving force.
“What you just saw is you saw me go on to the Elimination Chamber. Where there’s a chance that I might go on to WrestleMania. And then there’s a possibility that maybe, long overdue, I could be standing here holding the damn world title. I don’t know what the future holds. I have no idea. But I’ll tell you this – I must rise. That might not mean much to you, but I had a moment… let me be honest, I don’t stand here without everybody out there doing what you just did, chanting a little LA Knight, saying a little YEAH,”
he said.
He concluded with a rallying call,
“So I must rise. You must rise. We all must rise. And at the end of the day, no matter what happens, in this business for me, every time I come to Cleveland, I can trust in the fact that Cleveland is gonna tell them whose game this is, with everybody sayin’ YEAH!”
