LA Knight has confirmed that he currently lacks any details regarding his involvement in WrestleMania 42. Despite an ongoing rivalry with The Vision that has spanned several months, Knight remains unaware of what lies ahead for him at WWE’s biggest annual event.
After being sidelined from WWE television in December 2025 following an attack by Bronson Reed, who delivered the Tsunami move on Knight atop a car, The Megastar made a surprise return at the 2026 Royal Rumble. Entering at number 21 in the Men’s Royal Rumble Match, Knight eliminated both Bronson Reed and Austin Theory before being ousted by Cody Rhodes.
During an appearance on The Coach’s Corner, Knight admitted he does not have insight into his WrestleMania plans, noting that when starting out in wrestling he often only learned about matches shortly before the event.
“Don’t worry about the details because I don’t have any. I know about as much as you know. People find that hard to believe, but in all honesty, that’s just wrestling. When I came up in wrestling, I’d say most of the times I was going to a show, I’d never even met my opponent before. I’m meeting him two or three hours before showtime before we’re learning anything. I don’t know a lot. I’d like to know more, but all I know is it’s gonna be, of course as it always is, a gigantic week. It’s gonna be a gigantic success.” said Knight.

Though Knight was eliminated by Logan Paul during the Elimination Chamber Match, he retaliated by abducting Paul Heyman, a key figure associated with The Vision. This move came after Heyman was distracted on WWE RAW by Seth Rollins, while Jimmy Uso prevented Austin Theory from intervening.
Knight seized the opportunity to kidnap Heyman, driving off in an ambulance during the chaos. Following the dramatic moment, Knight posted a message on X, addressing Heyman directly.
