Lyra Valkyria Rules Out Pink and Red for Royal Rumble Gear

WWE Superstar Lyra Valkyria is set to compete in the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble, but she has already dismissed two colors from her ring gear options. Valkyria, known for her distinctive style, revealed that pink and red will definitely not be part of her attire for the event.

When asked about her gear plans in an interview with ClutchPoints, Valkyria hesitated to share any specific details, stating,

“I don’t know what I can tease really.”

Nevertheless, she clarified the colors fans should not expect.

“Definitely not gonna be pink or red,”

she said with a smile, adding, “That’s all I can say.” She later emphasized this decision, laughing,

“You can eliminate those two colors for my entire career, to be honest.”

Background on Lyra Valkyria’s Royal Rumble Debut and Recent Storylines

Valkyria remains a confirmed competitor alongside other top wrestlers including Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, Liv Morgan, Charlotte Flair, and Chelsea Green for the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble. Her first Royal Rumble appearance was at the 2025 event, where she entered in the fourth position. Despite an energetic showing lasting over 16 minutes, she was the second participant eliminated, losing out to Ivy Nile.

After the Rumble, Valkyria continued to make an impact by teaming with Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 41. The duo captured the Women’s Tag Team Championship by defeating Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. However, their reign was short-lived, as Morgan and Rodriguez reclaimed the titles the very next night during Monday Night RAW.

This title turnover sparked a feud between Valkyria and Lynch over the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Ultimately, Lynch emerged victorious at the Money in the Bank event, ending Valkyria’s 145-day championship run.

Current Rivalries and Prospects for Upcoming Matches

At present, Lyra Valkyria is involved in a developing storyline with Bayley, who is undergoing a significant character shift. Their rivalry remains heated, intersecting with ongoing conflicts involving Liv Morgan and the faction Judgment Day. As Valkyria prepares for the Royal Rumble, these narratives continue to build tension and anticipation within WWE’s women’s division.
