Longstanding Partnership Between Otis and Maxxine Dupri in WWE
Maxxine initially appeared on WWE’s main roster as the kayfabe sister of Max Dupri (LA Knight) and served as the Director of Talent for the Maximum Male Models faction, which included former WWE Superstars Mace and Mansoor. This association eventually ended when she allied with Chad Gable and Otis to form the Alpha Academy stable in mid-2023.
Though Chad Gable has since departed from the group, Otis and Maxxine continue to work closely within the Alpha Academy alongside Akira Tozawa. Their faction was previously involved in a rivalry with Gable’s new faction, American Made, during which Maxxine also engaged in a singles competition against Ivy Nile.
Maxxine’s in-ring debut with the Alpha Academy came amid a brief feud with The War Raiders in 2023. During this time, she earned her first singles match victory by defeating Valhalla, marking an important milestone in her wrestling career.
What Maxxine Dupri’s New Identity Means for Her Career
By adopting the bold new moniker “Buff Babe,” Maxxine Dupri signals an evolution in her wrestling persona that aligns with her growing confidence and expanding role in WWE. Her steady progress from a managerial role to an in-ring competitor, along with her increasing prominence in storylines and championship opportunities, positions her as a rising talent to watch on RAW and beyond.
As Maxxine builds on this momentum, the continued partnership with Otis and the Alpha Academy stable provides a solid foundation for her future matches and rivalries, suggesting that her character’s development and in-ring accomplishments will remain a key focus moving forward.
