Nia Jax Reveals Her Favorite Wrestling Emotion Ahead of SmackDown

Published:

WWE star Nia Jax has shared her favorite wrestling emotions as she prepares for a major three-way championship match on SmackDown on September 26. The event will take place at the Kia Center in Orlando, where Jax will compete against Jade Cargill and reigning WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton for the title.

Insights into Nia Jax’s Wrestling Passion

In an interview with WKMG-TV in Orlando, Nia Jax discussed the aspect of wrestling that excites her most. She emphasized the emotional connection she builds with the audience during her performances. Jax said,

“My favorite part of wrestling is the emotions that we garner from everybody. When we hit the ramp and we get in the ring and I get to put on basically live action theater.”

Jax explained how witnessing fans, sometimes newcomers to wrestling, react is particularly thrilling for her.

“Sometimes people come and they’ll bring a friend who’s never watched wrestling, and that’s really exciting for me, because I’m like, ‘I want this person to be engaged with what I’m doing right now,’”

she added. Her role as a villain allows her to provoke strong reactions from the crowd, which she thoroughly enjoys. She noted,

“I wanna see what kind of reaction I can get from them. I play a bad guy so I love getting them to boo me, to hate me, get them riled up and have them enjoy their experience.”

Jax described how fan responses, whether boos or cheers, are the highlight of her performances:

“Walk out and be like, ‘Oh my gosh, I can’t believe she was in there, she’s so rude,’ so I enjoy that the most. I like seeing kids boo me or cheer me. The fan reaction is probably my favorite part.”

Details on the Upcoming SmackDown Match

The upcoming title match on SmackDown is currently the only confirmed bout for the show, making it a highly anticipated event among wrestling fans. Tiffany Stratton captured the WWE Women’s Championship earlier this year by cashing in her Money in the Bank contract to win the title from Nia Jax in January. Now, Jax aims to reclaim the championship against Stratton and Jade Cargill.

Why This Match Matters

This high-profile contest not only tests the skills of three of WWE’s prominent female athletes but also highlights the evolving landscape of the WWE Women’s division. Nia Jax’s desire to evoke powerful emotional reactions reinforces her commitment to delivering compelling live entertainment. The match at the Kia Center in Orlando is expected to draw significant attention and could impact the trajectory of the Women’s Championship storyline moving forward.
