At a recent Club Shay Shay podcast hosted by Shannon Sharpe, former WWE Champion Seth Rollins shared his unexpected praise for influencer-turned-wrestler Logan Paul, highlighting the significant impact outsiders can have on WWE. Rollins emphasized Logan Paul’s dedication to the wrestling craft, noting how the influencer has transitioned from a casual participant to a nearly full-time competitor within the organization, reflecting a newfound passion that distinguishes him from others entering the wrestling world.
The Formation and Impact of The Vision in WWE
Following WrestleMania 41, Seth Rollins established a dominant heel faction known as The Vision by enlisting WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman as the group’s ‘Oracle,’ along with prominent wrestlers Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. This faction exerted control across both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown, notably confronting then-World Heavyweight Champion Cody Rhodes. The Vision’s aggressive dominance culminated with Rollins capturing the World Heavyweight Championship from CM Punk at SummerSlam Night 1, symbolizing a peak in his career.
Challenges Within The Vision and Arrival of New Members
Despite early success, Rollins’ reign and influence suffered a drastic setback on RAW after Crown Jewel when Breakker and Reed turned against him, dismantling the faction’s leadership from within. The Vision later expanded its ranks by adding Logan Paul and Austin Theory, reinforcing their status as one of WWE’s most formidable groups. Logan Paul’s official induction occurred on the November 3, 2025 episode of WWE RAW, when he attacked World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, solidifying his alliance with The Vision.
Rollins Describes Logan Paul’s Unique Passion for Wrestling
Rollins detailed the challenges young talents face when entering WWE, acknowledging the temptation to see wrestling merely as a chance to capitalize financially. He contrasted this typical approach with Logan Paul’s uncommonly deep engagement with the sport, describing how Logan quickly grew addicted to the process of wrestling, surrendering to the grind and intensity. According to Rollins, Logan goes beyond viewing wrestling as a fleeting endeavor and has embraced it as a serious profession with full-time commitment.
“That’s a tough lesson to learn I think as a young talent, because you want those opportunities, but yeah, I think it’s great. Not all of them are like Logan. He can do it and he developed a passion for it quickly. I don’t know that he thought, because he’s pretty much full-time now, every week he’s there, and I don’t know that when he started that’s what- here’s this fun thing I get to do, he’s all about making money, he’s getting paid and gets to do this fun thing that’s sort of fight adjacent. I think he got addicted to it. He got addicted to the process, and when you get hooked that way, it’s hard to let it go, so there’s not a lot of him. Most of them are like a Speed who gets in the Rumble and gets murked by Bron Breakker and you don’t wanna come back. Like I’m good,” Rollins explained.
Logan Paul’s Key Role in The Vision’s Recent Storylines
Logan Paul’s debut aligned with a pivotal shift within The Vision after Rollins was ousted by Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman in October 2025, following the Crown Jewel event. Shifting allegiances, Logan initially hinted at siding with CM Punk but ultimately chose The Vision, making a statement by delivering a knockout blow to Punk on WWE RAW. This move emphasized Paul’s commitment to the faction and intensified ongoing rivalries, elevating his status in WWE.
Significance of Seth Rollins’ Praise for Logan Paul
Seth Rollins’ open acknowledgment of Logan Paul’s dedication highlights a broader evolution in WWE’s approach to celebrities and influencers joining the wrestling landscape. As Paul continues to solidify his place within The Vision, his passion and full-time involvement could attract new viewers while elevating the faction’s threat level. Rollins’ remarks underscore the idea that not all external personalities treat wrestling as merely a side project, indicating potential for lasting contributions from high-profile figures like Paul in the industry’s future.
Seth Rollins on celebrities and influencers joining WWE:
"I'm fine with it. I think as a talent it can be frustrating because you feel like, if they're in a big spotlight, you're like 'ah they're taking somebody's spot'.
