Tommaso Ciampa has officially been moved to the WWE Alumni section on the company’s website, marking the start of his career beyond WWE. The 40-year-old wrestler recently announced that his WWE contract would expire soon, signaling the end of his tenure with the organization.
Merchandise Launchs and Opportunities Following WWE Departure
Alongside this update, Ciampa revealed he is available for various activities including appearances, signings, and seminars. On Tuesday, his WWE profile was relocated to the alumni category as he introduced a new merchandise line through Pro Wrestling Tees. This collection features shirts and hoodies under the “Psycho Killer” brand, a nickname closely associated with Ciampa.
Career Highlights and WWE Tenure Overview
Ciampa spent two decades in professional wrestling, with the last ten years at WWE. He debuted on WWE screens in the Cruiserweight Classic before becoming a prominent figure on the NXT brand. During his time there, Ciampa secured two NXT Championship titles and also held the NXT Tag Team Championships twice alongside Johnny Gargano. Following a brief stint on WWE’s main roster in 2019, his momentum was halted due to neck surgery, which required him to relinquish the NXT title. After recovering, Ciampa returned to NXT and later rejoined the main roster in 2022, also reuniting with Gargano in their tag team DIY over two years ago.
End of WWE In-Ring Career and Final Match
Ciampa’s final WWE match took place in December, where he teamed with Johnny Gargano to face Ilja Dragunov and Carmelo Hayes. This match stands as his last competitive appearance under the WWE banner before moving on to the next phase of his wrestling career.
