Witney, who finished third with Wayne Brady last season, said, “This was a tough decision for us.” She also mentioned that she and her husband, Carson McAllister, had considered and prayed about the decision. The couple has two kids: Leo, two years old, and Jett, 3.5 months old. Carson said, “My family is most important to me.”
Since the Carsons recently moved to Florida, they didn’t want to relocate their family for the show. They thought it would be difficult for their family now. Witney said, “Leo needs consistency and dependability, but he hasn’t had that since birth.” They aim to provide their son with a stable life, especially since Jett was born in May. Witney doesn’t feel prepared for the show’s demands.
