Hersha Parady death : Hersha Parady, known for playing Alice Garvey on “Little House on the Prairie,” died on Wednesday at the age of 78.
Parady died after a prolonged battle with Meningioma, a brain tumor. Jonathan Peverall, her son, told people about it. He had written about his mother’s condition and posted it on a GoFundMe website to gather money for her medical expenses. The Mayo Clinic identifies meningiomas as the “most common type of tumor that forms in the head.”
Born in May 1945, Parady began her television career in the early ’70s. She debuted with a guest role on “Bearcats!” in 1971. She became popular in her career by being on TV shows like “Mannix,” “The Waltons,” and “The Quest.” But, she became famous in showbiz because of her character Alice Garvey on the TV show “Little House on the Prairie,” which was from 1976 to 1980.

After “Little House,” Parady did more movies as an actor. She was in two scary movies: “Courage” in 1984 and “The Babysitter’s Seduction” on TV in 1996. Her final recorded role was in the 2015 comedy short “Product.”
Peverall said this about Parady’s tumor: “This illness has taken away her energy, her ability to remember things, and, unfortunately, her lively personality.”Because she was sick, the actress had to stay in bed for most of her time off. Because of this, she had trouble doing even the easiest things.
Parody has been around for a really long time in both television and movies. During all those years, She made a lot of really great stuff that people and other creative people will always remember. Her death has made many people in the entertainment industry very sad.
