Jade Cargill suffered a severe injury during the WWE SmackDown event, raising concerns about her condition. The injury occurred while competing for the WWE Women’s Title, leading to an unexpected change in the match’s conclusion.
Incident During Title Match Leads to Serious Injury
In a match against Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Title on SmackDown, Jade Cargill, formerly of AEW, experienced a brutal injury. A mistimed move involving the steel steps caused a large cut on Cargill’s forehead, which resulted in significant bleeding. This injury disrupted the planned finish of the bout, forcing WWE to alter the ending on the spot.
Immediate Care Provided Ringside Following the Injury
After SmackDown went off the air, footage showed Jade Cargill struggling at ringside with visible injuries and heavy bleeding. A WWE medic promptly attended to her, covering her forehead with a towel to control the bleeding and prevent any further blood loss.
Following this initial medical attention, Cargill was assisted backstage by the medic to receive additional care. WWE has not yet issued an official statement regarding her health status.
