Tiffany Stratton, known as “Tiffy Time,” has been a prominent figure on WWE’s main roster for two years, during which she won the women’s Money in the Bank briefcase and successfully cashed it in to claim the WWE Women’s World Championship on SmackDown. Reflecting on her journey during a recent conversation with No Contest Wrestling, Stratton revealed that what she misses most about her time in NXT is performing as a heel, a character role that allowed her to fully express herself.
The Freedom and Flair of Performing as a Heel
Stratton explained that her heel persona in NXT gave her the freedom to showcase her personality and be more uninhibited in the ring and backstage. She currently wrestles as a babyface on the main roster, which requires her to tone down aspects of her character. This shift has left her nostalgic for the creative liberty she enjoyed as a heel.
“That’s a really good question. I do miss how my character was down in NXT. I do miss being a heel. I love being a heel and wrestling as the heel. It’s like right now I wrestle as a baby face. I love to just be free. Like as a heel, I feel more like I can be free and just kind of be like full Tiffy. Whereas like kind of right now I reel it back just cause- so I do miss wrestling as a heel doing backstages and promos as a heel. So I would say like, that’s the biggest thing that I missed on an NXT.”

Recent Matches and Future Prospects
Despite her fondness for her heel character, Stratton recently fell short in the 2026 women’s Elimination Chamber event. That match was won by Rhea Ripley, who is set to challenge Jade Cargill for their championship title at WrestleMania 42. Stratton’s performance and reflections provide insight into her passion for wrestling and hint at her evolving role within WWE’s women’s division.
The Significance of Stratton’s Heel Experience
Stratton’s longing for her heel persona highlights the creative challenges wrestlers often face as they transition between roles. Her ability to engage audiences differently depending on character alignment adds depth to her in-ring performances. As she continues to grow on the main roster, fans may see a potential return to or new interpretation of the heel persona that once defined her rise.
