This weekend’s NXT Homecoming event has undergone a significant change as Tiffany Stratton will no longer participate due to medical reasons. The announcement comes ahead of the program at Full Sail University, with former NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria replacing Stratton in a key six-woman tag team match, marking an important NXT Homecoming match update.

Change in NXT Homecoming Lineup Announced

NXT General Manager Ava confirmed that Tiffany Stratton is not cleared to wrestle following her recent WWE Women’s Championship match on SmackDown. As a result, Lyra Valkyria will take Stratton’s place in the six-woman tag match scheduled for the event. The exact injury details and projected recovery time for Stratton have not been made public.

Other featured matches include TNA World Champion Trick Williams joining forces with Carmelo Hayes to battle the reformed DIY team of Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa in a tag team matchup. Ethan Page is set to defend the NXT North American Championship against Tyler Breeze, while NXT Champion Oba Femi and challenger Ricky Saints will appear on The Grayson Waller Effect talk show segment during the event.

NXT Homecoming marks the first occasion since WWE shifted its weekly shows to the Performance Center that the company will return to Full Sail University.
